The OCEAN Board will deal a wide range of issues of EU policy and politics affecting ship supply, from the Multi Annual Financial Framework of the EU post Brexit and receive updates on the UK’s departure from the EU. The Board will look at the challenges the implementation of the Union Customs Code (UCC) represents for ship suppliers and assess the EU Commission's overhaul of VAT rules proposal, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the EU and the recast of the EU export control system. There should also be plenty of opportunity of the OCEAN Board to enage with Bulgarian BSSA members and Bulgarian officals. As a special contribution and sign of appreciation for the work of OCEAN and BSSA, the new ISSA  President Saeed al Malik will also attend the meeting and present ISSA's new Presidency Priorities. The Working Group on Customs & Taxation will meet on Thursday, 26 April 2018.
