EU adopts new amendment for the current Customs Code!

The 27 Member States of the European Union and the European Commission have adopted a new amendment for the current Customs Code at their session at the Customs Code Committee today. The new law will impact on how modern maritime trade does business. It is applicable from January 1st 2011.

A Commission Regulation (EU) amending Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93 laying down provisions for the implementation of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92 establishing the Community Customs Code  was voted favorably in the Customs Code Committee today.
