The OCEAN Board meeting took place in Brussels, Belgium on Friday 16th April 2010. 
 

The OCEAN Board met in Brussels and discussed latest developments in Europe as regards shipsupply. The Board was pleased with the involvement of the Cyprus Shipsupply Association, but was equally impressed with the commitment of the Norwegian Maritime Suppliers & TURSSA - Turkey Ship Suppliers Association, which regularly attended our meetings.
The Board listend to updates and reports on Veterinary Affairs, Customs Matters and Taxation Matters, vital for operation of modern ship supply in Europe and discussed the impact on European Shipsupply. The Board was then thoroughly updated on Customs Policy in particular the final amendment to the EU Customs Code and the Modernized Customs Code.
